Toys4Tots Christmas Action

Wunderland Records in corporation with Snowcrash Digital™ is proud to present their Toys4Tots Christmas fundraiser 2010. Just like last year a limited edition CD, especially created for this charity event will be on sale - 60 great christmas songs for only 500 linden dollars - of which 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the US Marines’ Toys4Tots charity.

Just like last year, Wunderland records and Snowcrash Digital™ have released a special limited CD in Second Life®. In 2009 this Christmas event was able to collect over L$1,6 million, making roughly US$5000 in only 56 days. All proceeds from this Christmas fundraiser are donated to Toys4Tots, a charity run by the US Marine Corps Reserve.

For 63 years the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program have distributed more than 400 million toys to more than 188 million needy children. This charitable endeavor has made the Marines the unchallenged leader in looking after less fortunate children at Christmas. Over the years the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has supplemented local toy collections with more than 81.3 million toys valued at more than $487 million.

Wunderland Records and Snowcrash Digital™ would like to thank all of the contributors; over 60 musicians especially recorded a song for this charity action, and several Second Life® content creators donated special limited edition freebies which are included as a little extra with the CD. The CDs can be found at vendors in-world (http://bit.ly/a0byLU), and the fundraising progress can be followed online at our special mini site at http://toys4tots.snowcrashdigital.com.
